Kate is Head of Compliance and Lead Counsel at Flourish and is responsible for leading the compliance team in the design, development, and implementation of Flourish’s broker-dealer, cryptocurrency, and insurance compliance programs.
Before joining Flourish in 2019, Kate was a Vice President in Broker-Dealer Compliance at BlackRock. She also previously worked at Goldman Sachs as VP in Securities Division Compliance covering the equity derivatives sales and trading teams. Preparation for her law degree included working as a legal extern at FINRA and New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, and as an Honors Intern at the SEC.
Kate received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law.
Fun fact: Kate loves all things sports. She played lacrosse in college, but has since traded in her stick to coach and cheer on her kids from the sidelines.
